Our Story

ZTD Company Limited was founded by a visionary graduate engineer who envisioned establishing a company in collaboration with other civil engineers and professionals from diverse educational backgrounds in engineering and science. ZTD Company Limited was established and registered with equal shares among its founders.
Throughout its journey, ZTD Company Limited has faced and overcome several challenges that have shaped its growth and development. These experiences have strengthened the company’s resolve to innovate and excel in the competitive construction sector. Under the leadership of Mr. Ali Abdalla Ali, and with the strategic addition of the experienced Marine Civil Engineer Ali Othman as a shareholder, ZTD has continued to evolve and adapt, proving its strength in a challenging industry.
With a combined experience of over 50 years, ZTD Consultancy and Construction Company Limited has established itself as a leading player in design, project supervision, construction, and research and development services. Our expertise includes feasibility studies, environmental and social impact assessments (ESIA), business development studies, financial analysis, quality analysis, research services, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ). The company’s commitment to excellence and client satisfaction has enabled it to deliver successful projects, making ZTD a trusted partner in Zanzibar and beyond.
